Bookings for our summer or winter guided and catered program will be mixed groups or cohort groups in the main lodge and private chalet. Self catered/guided or self guided groups of 4 to 8 guests are welcome to inquire about a stay in the private chalet. We are luxury lodge located in the northern Purcell mountains near Glacier National Park, Golden B.C.. Operating for over 31 years, Purcell Lodge is located at 2200 meters (7200’) amidst the alpine slopes of Bald Mountain. We are a backcountry lodge suited for all ages and abilities. In the summer and fall season, venture to our outdoor playground on hiking trails. Explore North America's largest alpine meadows and take in breathtaking scenery. In the winter, the fresh powder is nonstop and allows for soft pillow landings in a variety of terrain suitable for all ski ability levels. Relax and unwind to all the comforts of home in our three story, timber framed lodge. Luxury in the backcountry is complete with an open dining area, cozy living room with fireplace and quiet library. Ten private guest rooms each with its own sink and vanity are located on the upper floor and come with mountain views guaranteed to inspire and refresh. Three private showers and three private bathrooms are across the hallway. A traditional wood burning sauna is steps away from the main lodge to help sooth tired muscles and joints.
Mountain ranges, fresh air and stunning views are what attracts visitors from all over the world. Our caring dedicated Purcell Lodge family is what keeps everyone coming back. Gourmet mountain cuisine is prepared by our Adventure Chef. Our Chef can accommodate special dietary needs and allergies with advance notice. Apres hike and ski appetizers are served each day and enjoyed with our specially selected craft beers, BC wines and spirits are available from our cash bar.

Purcell Mountain Lodge Meal Service - COVID Safety Plan
Seating is pre assigned for the tour. Mixed groups are spread further apart and small cohort groups can sit closer together. Guests are spaced apart at the two tables to mitigate any risk of COVID transmission avoiding face to face contact while dining. Our Purcell Mountain Lodge family eat apart from our guests to allow for more space in the dinning room.
Cold Breakfast -Granola, fresh fruit & yogurt is pre ordered and placed at your assigned seats.
Hot Breakfast - Chef's choice individually plated meals.
Gourmet pre packed lunches with fresh baked goods and treats in a take home souvenier canvas Purcell Mountain Lodge lunch sac.
